Manager - PMO Operations, COE Leader

Responsibilities

• Lead the Center of Excellence (COE) by developing strategic plans and establishing best practices across gas and electric business jurisdictions
• Oversee jurisdictional PMO Operations, including procurement coordination, material expediting, and framework governance
• Manage multidisciplinary teams to optimize procurement timing, quality, and cost for capital projects
• Drive process automation and continuous improvement for the ISO 9001 Certified Quality Management System
• Provide leadership for SAP subject matter experts to support system optimization and project execution
• Align cross-functional departments such as Legal, Finance, and Purchasing to streamline procurement workflows
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements, and audit readiness
• Guide material management and inventory forecasting to prevent project delays or stock-outs

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of experience in procurement, contracts, and material management
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams and developing complex procurement strategies
• Extensive experience with enterprise systems, specifically SAP
• Strong knowledge of industry standards in Electric Transmission, Substation/Distribution, Gas Distribution, or LNG
• Demonstrated success in material/inventory management and supplier coordination
• Ability to influence and manage within a matrixed organizational structure
• Proficiency in data analytics to drive business performance

Preferred Qualifications

• CPSM or CPIM certification
