Manager, Platform App Development

Responsibilities

• Partner with external consulting teams to manage project plans and monitor progress for platform development initiatives
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation including project charters, RAID logs, and technical design documents
• Serve as the lead service manager for custom AI projects built on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Lead requirement gathering sessions to translate business needs into technical specifications
• Oversee end-to-end development of custom applications on GCP using Dialogflow CX, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Storage
• Prototype and deploy chatbots using Vertex AI Agent Builder or Gemini models
• Troubleshoot and refine live integrations within GCP Cloud Functions and Cloud Storage
• Champion Application-to-Application (A2A) architecture best practices

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in technical project or program management with a focus on cloud-based solutions
• 2+ years of experience directly configuring and building conversational AI agents
• Demonstrated ability to manage vendor relationships and external consulting partners
• Strong understanding of A2A architecture and cloud development lifecycles
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field
• Proficiency with project management software such as Smartsheet, Jira, or Azure DevOps

Preferred Qualifications

• Google Cloud Professional certification
• PMP certification
• Specialized AI/ML credentials
