Manager, Plant Environmental Health & Safety

Responsibilities

• Direct the plant EHS function and drive accountability for environmental, health, and safety programs.
• Lead the development and administration of plant processes including accident investigations, corrective actions, safety inspections, and audits.
• Drive best-in-class safety culture change initiatives and behavioral-based safety programs with a zero-incident focus.
• Partner with leadership and corporate teams to drive ISO 14001/OHSAS 18001 plant-level initiatives.
• Manage environmental programs and regulatory compliance, including hazardous waste, air, storm water, and wastewater discharge programs.
• Develop and facilitate training on EHS initiatives, DOT compliance, and required OSHA/environmental training.
• Compile data and prepare required regulatory reports for federal, state, and local authorities.
• Maintain familiarity with all aspects of the facility's emergency contingency plan.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 3+ years of environmental experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• 3+ years of safety experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Significant experience with OSHA regulations and principles (including Voluntary Protection Programs).
• Strong facilitation, communication, and change management skills.
