About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic cross-channel communications plans for client assignments
- Supervise development and implementation of targeted, innovative media solutions
- Leverage performance and measurement insights to inform plan recommendations and optimizations
- Create external briefing documents aligned with plan parameters, objectives and strategies
- Use syndicated research to compile category trends, audience consumption, and competitive activity
- Develop relationships with media partners to share client objectives and stay updated on offerings
- Identify relevant media landscape opportunities and develop POVs
- Prepare and deliver dynamic presentations to showcase recommendations to clients
Requirements
- Confident presentation skills for internal and client meetings
- Mastery of syndicated research sources, planning tools, and media math
- Strong troubleshooting and solutions-driven mindset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong knowledge of industry trends and planning/measurement models
- Understanding of marketing and communications processes
- Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
Preferred Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in media planning across various channels
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with ad serving technology and third-party market research tools
- Familiarity with tools such as MediaTools, Prisma/MBOX, DCM, Nielsen Ad Intel, Pathmatics, eTelmar, MRI Simmons, comScore, or eMarketer
- Experience managing junior staff and communicating with leadership
