About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead Searchlight Pictures’ performance marketing across key digital channels, optimizing campaigns through data-driven audience and bidding strategies.
- Partner with media strategy, analytics, and agency teams to execute and optimize paid media efforts.
- Implement and optimize performance measurement frameworks and KPIs to inform budget allocation decisions.
- Manage daily communication with media agency activation teams to ensure proper campaign implementation.
- Oversee ad tagging, data collection, and data governance to ensure legal compliance and accurate reporting.
- Execute test-and-learn initiatives and translate social listening insights into actionable marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with creative teams to inform asset development through performance insights and testing frameworks.
- Prepare compelling performance reporting and insights for Searchlight leadership and internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in digital media platforms (e.g., Meta, TikTok, Google Ads, Programmatic DSPs).
- 4+ years of experience in theatrical or streaming marketing on the client, agency, or vendor side.
- Proven experience building and delivering digital plans from research through to execution.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Hands-on experience with digital tagging, trafficking, and verification.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong business acumen.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across diverse, cross-departmental teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Passion for the entertainment industry and the specialty/independent film space.
- Experience with data analytics tools and dashboards such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Familiarity with DMP logic, segmentation, and implementation across various platforms.
- Experience driving business goals through the application of data insights.
