Manager, People Operations

Responsibilities

• Own the People Operations function, including payroll oversight, benefits administration, HRIS management, and data integrity
• Ensure accurate and compliant execution of payroll and benefits processes
• Serve as operational owner for employee lifecycle processes including onboarding and offboarding
• Optimize the HR technology stack and design automated People Operations workflows
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws across 39 states
• Partner with Finance on payroll reconciliation and reporting
• Support performance management, talent reviews, and succession planning

Requirements

• 5–7+ years of progressive experience in People Operations or HR Business Partnering
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of HR practices and employment laws
• Experience managing HRIS, payroll, and benefits platforms
• Proven ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable recommendations
• Strong interpersonal and consulting skills with the ability to influence leadership
• High level of discretion and ability to handle sensitive information

Preferred Qualifications

• PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-CP certification
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
