Manager, Pensions, Actuarial

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review numerical and written advice for clients
• Translate high-level deliverables from senior team members into detailed client reports
• Manage client projects within agreed scope and budget with minimal supervision
• Delegate work effectively to Consultants and Senior Consultants within project teams
• Provide pensions expertise and opinions for large cross-service line projects
• Support the senior management team with marketing initiatives and business development
• Build and maintain effective relationships within the market and the EY network
• Mentor, train, and provide feedback to develop team members

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a consulting environment, ideally on corporate work or BPA transactions
• Deep knowledge and experience of the UK pensions environment
• Proven experience in actuarial calculation and modelling
• Strong project management skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to build and maintain trusted client relationships
• Self-starter with a proactive, "can-do" attitude
• Ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity in a changing market
