Manager, Payroll Latam

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end production payroll for Mexico and support operations across Colombia, Argentina, and Brazil
• Validate timekeeping, earnings, deductions, overtime, union payments, and statutory payments
• Ensure strict compliance with Mexico labor laws, local payroll regulations, tax, social security, and union agreements
• Partner with HR and Finance to validate employee changes, including new hires, transfers, compensation updates, and separations
• Coordinate with third-party vendors and internal partners on payroll calculations, filings, reporting, and audits
• Maintain payroll data integrity, documentation, and confidentiality in compliance with local legal requirements
• Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and identify root causes

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of payroll experience, with specific expertise in Mexico payroll
• Strong knowledge of Mexico labor laws, statutory benefits, tax, and social security
• Proficiency with payroll vendors and timekeeping systems, such as ADP or similar platforms
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in production, entertainment, media, or high-volume payroll environments
• Working knowledge of payroll practices in Colombia, Argentina, and Brazil
• Proficiency in Portuguese
• Payroll certification or specialized local payroll compliance training
