About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead, staff, and mentor the Engineering Technician team supporting the Parenteral area.
- Oversee process development, commissioning, qualification, validation, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with site leadership to implement business plan priorities and quality objectives.
- Provide technical support for Formulation, Filling, Inspection, and Equipment Prep workstreams.
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained in a qualified state for reliable medicine supply.
- Drive a strong safety and quality culture within the organization.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Parenteral Engineering and Automation systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- At least 5 years of engineering experience.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous people leadership experience.
- Experience with highly automated equipment and process validation.
- Knowledge of regulatory agency requirements (FDA, EMEA, DEKRA, OSHA).
- Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and electronic batch release.
- Proficiency with Quality Management Systems such as Veeva or Kneat.
