Manager - Packaging & Device Development

Responsibilities

• Characterize RLD pack samples and finalize packing configurations for exhibit batches of new generic products or NDAs.
• Identify new packaging materials and lead vendor development initiatives.
• Manage change part development for blister and strip packs.
• Support the Regulatory team with ANDA/NDA filings for regulated markets.
• Coordinate with NPI and planning teams to ensure successful product launches.
• Prepare and revise packaging material specifications and related documentation, including pack styles and justification reports.
• Prepare and review technical documents such as MPC, FMEA, TA, DHF, and AFMEA.
• Execute development study protocols and reports, including performing functional tests as per regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including FDD, RA, Plant, Marketing, and PMO.
• Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) of machines and support plant operations during exhibit batch packing and market complaint investigations.

Requirements

• B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering OR a Science Graduate with a Master's in Packaging.
• 10–15 years of relevant experience in packaging and device development.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical packaging.
• Experience in vendor development and material characterization.
