Manager-Packaging Development

Responsibilities

• Lead packaging part development and approval in coordination with cross-functional teams
• Prepare User Requirement Specifications (URS) and support machine selection, finalization, and validation (FAT/SAT)
• Manage mold development activities and execute packaging validation in line with quality standards
• Conduct packaging line trials and transit trials to ensure efficiency, strength, and product safety
• Provide troubleshooting support for shop floor packing lines and investigate packaging-related failures
• Review and approve Master Packaging Cards, Pack Styles, and Artworks
• Manage BOM verification and Item Code management within SAP
• Develop packaging material specifications and support CAPA and market complaint resolutions
• Coordinate with regulatory teams for registration sample generation for new fillings

Requirements

• B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering
• PG Diploma in Packaging Technology (IIP)
• 8+ years of relevant experience in packaging development
• Strong knowledge of packaging design and artwork review expertise
• Proficiency in SAP and BOM verification
• Experience working with regulated markets such as US, EU, and Brazil
