Manager Optimization Services

Responsibilities

• Lead pump system audits and preliminary assessments to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Plan and execute field measurement campaigns and validate data using industry-standard software.
• Perform hydraulic calculations to define pump system efficiency, energy demand, and CO2 emissions.
• Drive the installation and activation of KSB Guard systems across India, providing training to customers and internal teams.
• Troubleshoot vibration issues in centrifugal pumps, gearboxes, and motors using contact and non-contact methods.
• Interpret complex vibration plots (FFT, phase analysis, orbit plots, etc.) to conduct root cause analysis.
• Perform in-situ single and two-plane balancing of rotating machinery on-site.
• Manage performance complaints related to power consumption, head, flow, and cavitation.

Requirements

• BE Mechanical or M Tech degree.
• 6 to 10 years of experience in pump systems audits, rotating equipment diagnostics, or reliability engineering.
• Deep knowledge of pump hydraulics, performance calculations, NPSH, system curves, and cavitation.
• Proficiency with FFT analyzers, data collectors, and condition monitoring software.
• Strong managerial, communication, and networking abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in application engineering, service, or production.
• Extensive knowledge of rotating equipment dynamics.
