Manager – Operations Support

Responsibilities

• Act as a senior escalation point for complex, cross-departmental operational issues and lead remediation efforts.
• Oversee end-to-end operational flows to identify systemic risks, shortfalls, and inefficiencies.
• Drive process improvements and contribute to the strengthening and scaling of the operating model.
• Build, lead, and develop a central Operations Support team to enhance operational maturity.
• Ensure regulatory compliance across FAIS, FICA, AML, JSE, and A2X requirements.
• Maintain a hands-on role in day-to-day operational activities while providing strategic oversight.

Requirements

• Senior operational leadership experience within asset management, fund administration, or fund services.
• Strong background in fund administration operations with exposure across multiple functions.
• Proven track record of resolving complex operational issues and leading remediation initiatives.
• Experience in operating-model design, optimization, or scale-enablement.
• Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Operations Management, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualification or professional designation.
• Strong working knowledge of FAIS, FICA, and AML/CFT requirements.
• Deep understanding of Stockbroking Operations.
