Manager, Operations

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the global weekend operations function, providing leadership to staff in Chicago and oversight for the Singapore-based team.
• Lead incident management, including triage, root cause analysis, and stakeholder communication for all production events during the weekend window.
• Drive team development to expand capabilities across the Data Vantage product suite and Cboe Titanium trading platforms.
• Oversee operational support for exchange trading platforms, including real-time low-latency markets and equity listing processes.
• Manage system monitoring, health checks, and batch pipeline oversight for Cboe Global Indices and Data Vantage.
• Coordinate structured hand-off processes between US and APAC teams to ensure continuous operational awareness.
• Lead internal and industry-wide weekend testing activities, including capacity, failover, and BCP/DR tests.
• Utilize SQL and UNIX shell for data mining, log examination, and reporting.

Requirements

• 7+ years of securities-related or technical support experience (options, equities, futures, or index market data).
• 3+ years of people leadership or team management experience.
• 5+ years of experience with UNIX / Linux Shell, including file transfer processing.
• 3+ years of experience with SQL.
• 3+ years of experience with Agile Development Methodology.
• 2+ years of experience with Cloud Technology (AWS, GCP, etc.).
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of US equities, options, and/or futures markets and exchange trading operations.
• Experience managing operational teams across multiple time zones or geographies.
• Familiarity with market data and analytics platforms and 24x7 index calculation infrastructure.
