Manager: Operational Risk and Assurance

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of FNZ’s operational risk strategy across European operations to drive a resilient risk culture.
• Manage the Risk Event process, ensuring accurate recording, reporting, and timely escalation to clients and internal boards.
• Oversee the Risk & Control Framework, including Business Continuity (BCP), Business Impact Analysis (BIA), and Operational Resilience monitoring.
• Drive process improvements in audit governance and manage internal and external audits, including ISAE 3402 coordination.
• Provide oversight for Outsourcing Management and Intra-Group Agreements.
• Lead and develop the Operational Risk & Assurance team through coaching, performance management, and regular feedback.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and clients.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a risk management role, ideally within a platform or investment environment.
• In-depth knowledge of operational risks, systems, and processes.
• Demonstrated experience managing regulatory risk obligations and overseeing internal/external audits.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities with experience managing direct reports.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present at governance forums.
• Strategic and analytical thinking with a focus on problem-solving and process innovation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.
