Responsibilities
- Supervise daily AP operations including invoice processing, vendor reconciliations, and payment runs
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements
- Monitor aging reports and resolve discrepancies with vendors
- Identify opportunities to streamline AP processes through automation and best practices
- Lead and mentor the AP team, providing guidance and performance management
- Prepare monthly AP reports and dashboards for senior management
- Support audits by providing documentation and explanations of AP transactions
- Collaborate with procurement, treasury, and other finance teams to align payment strategies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 7–10 years of experience in finance
- 3–5 years of experience in accounts payable leadership
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems
- Excellent understanding of accounting principles and compliance requirements
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills
