Manager, Open-end/Hedge Fund Accounting

Responsibilities

• Maintain books and records for various Evergreen and Closed-end Partnerships
• Prepare and review complex management fee and waterfall calculations
• Manage recording and reconciliation of cash, investments, and other balance sheet accounts
• Record purchase and sale transactions and estimate/post accruals
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Analyze and calculate performance metrics including IRR, TWR, and multiple of capital
• Coordinate with independent auditors, custodians, prime brokers, and fund administrators
• Determine and prepare distributions and drawdowns

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of relevant accounting or audit experience
• Experience in Big Four public accounting or the investment management industry
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP; knowledge of IFRS GAAP is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, and PowerPoint
• Solid analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex problems

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within a fund administration firm
• Proficiency in Geneva and Geneva World Investors
• Knowledge of PowerBI
• ACA or CPA designation
