Manager, Open End Fund Accounting (SMA)

Responsibilities

• Maintain shadow books and records for open-end funds, separately managed accounts (SMA), and Luxembourg SICAVs
• Oversee daily NAV, cash, and position reconciliation processes
• Supervise and provide training to junior team members, including reviewing their work
• Manage the resolution of cash and position/asset breaks
• Review management fees and process journal entries for expense accruals
• Record and reconcile purchase/sale transactions and capital activity
• Prepare and review financial statements and quarterly corporate reporting (FAS 157, SOI, etc.)
• Coordinate with independent auditors, custodians, and fund administrators
• Ensure compliance with financial reporting controls and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
• Assist with AIFMD Reporting and Form PF compliance inputs

Requirements

• 8-12 years of relevant accounting or audit experience, ideally within Big Four public accounting or investment management
• Strong knowledge of reconciliation, account analysis, and investment company accounting rules
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to resolve complex problems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA certification
• Experience with Geneva or Geneva World Investor accounting systems
• Experience with data analytical tools such as PowerBI or Alteryx
