Manager, Open-end Fund Accounting (CLO)

Responsibilities

• Supervise and execute monthly and quarterly closing processes, including pricing, management fee calculations, and expense accruals.
• Conduct daily cash and position reconciliations and resolve discrepancies with custodians, administrators, and counterparties.
• Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with U.S. and U.K. GAAP, IFRS, and investment company accounting rules.
• Coordinate regulatory filings such as AIFMD Annex IV, Form PF, ADV reporting, and corporate tax reporting.
• Manage fund lifecycle activities including openings, closings, client drawdowns, and distributions.
• Coordinate annual financial statement audits and fieldwork with external auditors.
• Monitor work performed by third-party administrators and custodians to ensure accuracy and quality control.
• Support fund-related automation and efficiency initiatives while ensuring Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8+ years of relevant accounting or audit experience within Big Four public accounting or investment management.
• Strong knowledge of reconciliation, account analysis, and investment company accounting rules.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex problems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Geneva or Geneva World Investor accounting systems.
• Experience with PowerBI, Alteryx, or other data analytical tools.
• Working knowledge of CLOs and Risk Retention Vehicles, including waterfall schedules and priority of payments.
• CPA, Chartered Accountant, or equivalent professional qualification.
