Manager, Oncology and Biotech Infusion Pharmacy Services

Responsibilities

• Oversee sterile product preparations, general quality systems, and regulatory compliance for the Cancer Chemo Clinic.
• Manage day-to-day staffing, scheduling, and performance evaluations for Clinical-Staff Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians.
• Direct the management of chemotherapy and biotech drug operational systems and integrated pharmacist programs.
• Participate in pharmacy budget planning, assessing drug therapy issues regarding quality and cost.
• Represent the department on various committees, including Pharmacy & Therapeutics and Chemotherapy Pharmacy Improvement.
• Facilitate student, resident, and pharmacist training experiences and competencies.
• Promote excellent customer service by resolving concerns from patients, medical staff, and other healthcare providers.

Requirements

• Graduate of an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Proven experience in Oncology pharmacy services.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced Degree (MS, MBA, or PharmD).
• Completion of an ASHP General or Administrative Residency.
