Manager on Deck

Responsibilities

• Manage overall store performance, including financial profitability and operational excellence
• Coach and develop employees by setting clear expectations, conducting performance evaluations, and managing training
• Recruit, interview, and hire new team members in partnership with HR
• Analyze business trends to develop plans that meet or exceed sales and profit targets
• Control expenses and maintain proper oversight of physical and financial assets
• Ensure facility cleanliness and maintain "best in class" housekeeping and merchandising standards
• Oversee inventory processes, including the timely return of unused parts to vendors

Requirements

• 2+ years of management or equivalent business experience in the automotive industry
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales and profit goals
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to obtain a State Inspector license within 30 days of hire
• Ability to work a minimum of five days per week, including weekends
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Automotive Technician or in a similar technical role
