Manager of Software Engineering

Responsibilities

• Provide technology leadership to a strong engineering team and mentor developers.
• Develop long-term architecture roadmaps for existing products.
• Pioneer approaches to emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Define, use, and communicate design patterns and best practices.
• Act as a liaison between business partners, project management, and developers.
• Participate in design reviews, test case reviews, and production support readiness.
• Support QA, UAT, and release phases through defect analysis and change maintenance.
• Manage and remain accountable for professional employees and supervisors.

Requirements

• B.Tech/BE/MCA with 11+ years of experience in multi-layer technology.
• Extensive experience with J2EE tech stack and application/web servers (JBoss, Tomcat, or WebSphere).
• 7+ years of experience in UI technologies (ReactJS, Angular, JQuery, etc.) for enterprise applications.
• 4+ years of experience in CI/CD pipeline setup and maintenance (GitHub Actions, automation).
• 3+ years of experience with Cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, AKS, Docker).
• 2+ years of experience in Micro-services architecture and Multitenant Cloud application development.
• Proven experience in designing and architecting complex, scalable solutions.
• Hands-on experience as a full-stack engineer within an Agile Scrum environment.
• Knowledge of security scanning methodologies and tools (e.g., HP Fortify, Webinspect).

Preferred Qualifications

• AI Builder mindset with experience in Azure AI, MS CoPilot Studio, Prompt Engineering, GitHub Copilot, or Gen AI/RAG frameworks.
