Manager of Software Engineering - Data Analytics

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple technical teams within the Corporate Data and Analytics division
• Provide guidance to software engineers on daily tasks, practices, and collaboration
• Set and scale operating practices for AI-assisted engineering and SDLC automation
• Manage stakeholder relationships and ensure work adheres to compliance and business requirements
• Anticipate dependencies with other teams to deliver products in line with business needs
• Foster a culture of opportunity, inclusion, and respect for all team members

Requirements

• 5+ years of applied software engineering experience with formal training or certification
• Proven experience managing technologists and leading technology projects
• Demonstrated experience in coaching and mentoring engineers
• Proficiency in automation, continuous delivery, and all aspects of the SDLC
• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies, including CI/CD, resiliency, and security
• Practical cloud-native experience and ability to work at the code level
• Experience leading the adoption of AI-assisted development and delivery tools
• Strong understanding of responsible AI use, including data sensitivity and security implications

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Java Springboot, Python, PySpark, MongoDB, Oracle, or Unix
• Experience working with generative or agentic AI in design and coding workflows
