About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct the facility's research program, including fiscal management and site operations
  • Oversee clinical trial activities to ensure accuracy and adherence to federal and state guidelines
  • Manage, monitor, and operate within the allowed program budget
  • Assess organizational processes to identify ways to improve and streamline internal trial execution
  • Provide oversight and leadership in the management and execution of clinical trials
  • Review program billing outcomes and collaborate with billing staff to address financial issues
  • Oversee all aspects of patient treatment associated with trial execution, including enrollment, consent, and data entry
  • Manage the recruitment, hiring, training, and development of research staff
  • Maintain communication with the executive team regarding trial progress and operational risks

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Knowledge of FDA guidelines and Good Clinical Practice (GCP)
  • Experience using clinical trial databases and electronic data capture (EDC)
  • Proficiency in MS Access and MS Excel
  • Ability to read, understand, and comply with complex research protocols
  • Experience in clinical trials research

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in oncology research
