About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead service, program, and corporate initiatives based on evolving patient care and practice standards
  • Develop and implement policies and practice guidance to advance patient-centered care
  • Develop and motivate a cohesive team and support educational strategies for staff
  • Support the development and maintenance of profession-specific and interprofessional practice standards
  • Collaborate with practice and operations leaders to ensure aligned and integrated standards
  • Supervise professionals including Advanced Practice Nurse Educators and Discipline Heads
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives and promote practice excellence through data-driven approaches
  • Optimize health information systems and disseminate research findings to support evidence-based policy

Requirements

  • Master's Degree completion
  • Current registration in good standing with a Regulatory Health Professions College
  • Minimum 8 years of practical and related experience
  • Minimum 5 years of demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience
  • Experience developing and maintaining professional practice standards and quality control in healthcare
  • Proficiency in program evaluation and data analytics
  • Strong consulting, influencing, and negotiating skills
  • Knowledge of the Regulated Health Professions Act and healthcare ethics
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Cross appointment with a UHN affiliated College or University
  • Project Management experience
