About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead service, program, and corporate initiatives based on evolving patient care and practice standards
- Develop and implement policies and practice guidance to advance patient-centered care
- Develop and motivate a cohesive team and support educational strategies for staff
- Support the development and maintenance of profession-specific and interprofessional practice standards
- Collaborate with practice and operations leaders to ensure aligned and integrated standards
- Supervise professionals including Advanced Practice Nurse Educators and Discipline Heads
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and promote practice excellence through data-driven approaches
- Optimize health information systems and disseminate research findings to support evidence-based policy
Requirements
- Master's Degree completion
- Current registration in good standing with a Regulatory Health Professions College
- Minimum 8 years of practical and related experience
- Minimum 5 years of demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience
- Experience developing and maintaining professional practice standards and quality control in healthcare
- Proficiency in program evaluation and data analytics
- Strong consulting, influencing, and negotiating skills
- Knowledge of the Regulated Health Professions Act and healthcare ethics
- Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Cross appointment with a UHN affiliated College or University
- Project Management experience
