Manager of Professional Practice, Corporate Programs

Responsibilities

• Lead service, program, and corporate initiatives based on evolving patient care and practice standards
• Develop and implement policies and practice guidance to advance patient-centered care and organizational mission
• Supervise a diverse team of professionals, including Advanced Practice Nurse Educators and Discipline Heads
• Support the development and maintenance of profession-specific and interprofessional practice standards
• Collaborate with practice and operations leaders to ensure integrated standards across clinical programs and sites
• Lead quality improvement initiatives using a data-driven approach to promote practice excellence
• Engage in organization-wide initiatives, including the optimization of health information systems

Requirements

• Master's Degree in a relevant field
• Current registration and good standing with a Regulatory Health Professions College
• Minimum of 8 years of practical and related healthcare experience
• Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience
• Proven experience developing and maintaining professional practice standards and quality control measures
• Strong skills in program evaluation and leveraging data analytics
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic thinking abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Cross appointment with a UHN affiliated College or University
• Experience in Project Management
• Deep knowledge of the Regulated Health Professions Act and healthcare legislation
