About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead service, program, and corporate initiatives based on evolving patient care and practice standards
- Develop and implement policies and practice guidance to advance patient-centered care and organizational mission
- Supervise a diverse team of professionals, including Advanced Practice Nurse Educators and Discipline Heads
- Support the development and maintenance of profession-specific and interprofessional practice standards
- Collaborate with practice and operations leaders to ensure integrated standards across clinical programs and sites
- Lead quality improvement initiatives using a data-driven approach to promote practice excellence
- Engage in organization-wide initiatives, including the optimization of health information systems
Requirements
- Master's Degree in a relevant field
- Current registration and good standing with a Regulatory Health Professions College
- Minimum of 8 years of practical and related healthcare experience
- Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience
- Proven experience developing and maintaining professional practice standards and quality control measures
- Strong skills in program evaluation and leveraging data analytics
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic thinking abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Cross appointment with a UHN affiliated College or University
- Experience in Project Management
- Deep knowledge of the Regulated Health Professions Act and healthcare legislation
