About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead assigned Specialty Liaison team and manage activities to provide high-quality patient experiences
- Coach and develop liaison team members through consistent performance feedback and training
- Facilitate communication between liaisons, pharmacy, and clinic teams
- Meet operational targets regarding clinic service, growth, and patient satisfaction
- Establish credible relationships with health system stakeholders including clinic leadership and pharmacy teams
- Ensure team accountability for prior authorizations, financial assistance, and medication refills
- Identify and implement process improvement initiatives to drive efficiency
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 5 years of experience in a healthcare or pharmacy environment with direct patient/clinician contact
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory or management experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage performance against quantitative metrics
Preferred Qualifications
- National Certification as a CPhT or prior experience as a licensed pharmacy technician
- Experience in retail, hospital, or provider settings communicating with physicians and nurses
