About the role

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily flight scheduling operations, including aircraft, simulators, and instructor allocation
  • Supervise geographically dispersed site leaders and scheduling office staff, including student workers
  • Develop daily schedules for approximately 300 flight lessons using flight training software
  • Generate recurring reports on aircraft, simulator, and instructor utilization
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis of resource constraints and surpluses to support budgeting and student retention
  • Manage flight system data, ensuring proper synchronization and validation
  • Serve as a liaison between flight scheduling and other university departments
  • Recruit and hire staff to support a seven-day operation

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3–5 years of relevant work experience
  • Strong management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated analytical skills with in-depth knowledge of information systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Campus Solutions and ETA systems
