About the role
Responsibilities
- Plan, implement, and execute integrated marketing strategies and campaigns for Business and Financial Operations units, including Housing, Dining, and Facilities.
- Create compelling visual and video content for brand storytelling while ensuring adherence to university brand and accessibility standards.
- Manage social media content creation, engagement strategies, and departmental website updates.
- Utilize data analytics tools like Google Analytics to establish KPIs and provide actionable insights for leadership.
- Oversee digital content calendars, email communications, and short-form copywriting for various campaigns.
- Manage relationships with external vendors, such as graphic designers and printers, and collaborate with internal university partners.
- Coordinate outreach efforts and support special events, including informational presentations and tabling.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive professional experience in advertising, marketing, or digital communications.
- Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
- Demonstrated experience managing social media platforms and analyzing performance metrics.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment background check.
Preferred Qualifications
- Thorough understanding of email marketing platforms and website Content Management Systems (CMS).
- Strong project management and change management skills to lead cross-functional projects.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
