About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage and execute fundraising operations and annual campaign contributions
- Cultivate and steward a portfolio of current and prospective donors
- Draft multi-channel donor correspondence and manage direct appeals
- Administer the development database, data entry, and gift processing
- Identify grant opportunities and manage operating support grants
- Implement social media strategies and create content for Instagram and TikTok
- Write email marketing copy and design newsletters
- Maintain and update the Hillel website
- Ensure brand consistency across campus marketing and external communications
- Monitor digital metrics to refine communication strategies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- 2-5 years of development or fundraising experience
- 2-5 years of communication, marketing, social media, or branding experience
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to build connections and exercise independent judgment
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in Google Suite
- Knowledge of Little Green Light or other CRM platforms
- Experience with email marketing platforms like Mailchimp or Constant Contact
- Advanced understanding of social media platforms
- Graphic and web design skills using Canva or Adobe Suite
