About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute fundraising operations and annual campaign contributions
  • Cultivate and steward a portfolio of current and prospective donors
  • Draft multi-channel donor correspondence and manage direct appeals
  • Administer the development database, data entry, and gift processing
  • Identify grant opportunities and manage operating support grants
  • Implement social media strategies and create content for Instagram and TikTok
  • Write email marketing copy and design newsletters
  • Maintain and update the Hillel website
  • Ensure brand consistency across campus marketing and external communications
  • Monitor digital metrics to refine communication strategies

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 2-5 years of development or fundraising experience
  • 2-5 years of communication, marketing, social media, or branding experience
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to build connections and exercise independent judgment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Google Suite
  • Knowledge of Little Green Light or other CRM platforms
  • Experience with email marketing platforms like Mailchimp or Constant Contact
  • Advanced understanding of social media platforms
  • Graphic and web design skills using Canva or Adobe Suite
