Providence is one of the largest not-for-profit health systems in the United States. The Digital Innovation Group (DIG) is a product development and incubation team that builds next-gen tools to give patients convenient access to healthcare. DIG acts as a healthcare startup and technology incubator, spinning out successful products into their own companies.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of data scientists to understand the patient's digital journey and product impact on health outcomes.
• Apply hypothesis testing, statistical modeling, machine learning, predictive analytics, and LLMs to inform acquisition, personalization, and retention strategies.
• Build churn, retention, and LTV models for the Providence App.
• Develop next-best-action recommendation models to personalize content by patient cohorts.
• Partner with analytics and product leaders to set strategic direction for data science projects.
• Act as a player/coach by defining the team roadmap, process management, and providing technical guidance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or equivalent.
• 6 years of experience in data analysis, advanced statistical analysis, and predictive analytics.
• Hands-on experience in data mining, machine learning, and predictive modeling.
• 4 years of leadership experience.
