Manager of Corporate Accounting and Financial Systems

Responsibilities

• Direct a team of 4, establishing goals and objectives and enhancing professional development
• Oversee all accounting functions performed by the Corporate Accounting team
• Review general ledger reconciliations for corporate entities and year-end Corporate Tax reporting
• Maintain and support accounting systems including Great Plains, Blackline, and DocuPhase
• Lead the implementation of a new cloud-based General Ledger system
• Act as the subject matter expert for account reconciliation software configuration
• Provide technical support for data fixes using SQL and Excel Macros via VBA
• Oversee monitoring of POS, Bank Files (BAI), Vendor Settlement Files, and General Ledger files
• Train and support end users on financial systems

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Information Systems/Computer Science
• 6+ years of accounting experience
• Prior experience supervising direct reports
• Strong SQL skills
• Strong project management skills
• Strong understanding of accounting theory
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, complex, and ambiguous environment
