Manager, OCS Strategic Sourcing

Responsibilities

• Create and execute strategic outsourcing objectives to meet future demand, considering economic, raw material, and currency trends.
• Lead the discovery and management of external manufacturing metal suppliers to support global business units.
• Drive cross-functional teams to support key projects, including strategic reviews and opportunity assessments.
• Scout suppliers and manage competitive bids, quotations, negotiations, and proposals.
• Own the Supplier Relationship Management process, developing and reviewing capacities, capabilities, and performance criteria.
• Lead negotiations with major suppliers to optimize value and develop global supply intelligence for assigned commodities.
• Oversee Performance Scorecards and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure compliance and excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or a relevant field (Master’s or engineering degree is an advantage).
• 7 years of experience in supply management, procurement, or related fields.
• Strong technical understanding of metal manufacturing processes and product knowledge.
• Proven ability to manage and review complex contracts.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to achieve win-win solutions in a global environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in global manufacturing and business environments.
• Experience working in matrix environments or leading cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in two or more languages.
• Strong project management skills, specifically regarding make vs. buy decisions.
