Manager, New Unit Services Site Construction

Responsibilities

• Manage construction and installation of non-nuclear new and replacement generation, including combined cycle (CC) and simple cycle (CT) projects
• Oversee procurement, commissioning, startup, and testing of major generation projects
• Direct on-site construction to ensure safety, environmental, budget, and schedule goals are met
• Act as the primary representative for local community relations and political interface
• Supervise a team of 8-30 direct personnel and provide daily supervision for 200-600 matrixed contract personnel

Requirements

• BS in Engineering or equivalent
• Extensive experience managing large construction projects exceeding $100 million
• Minimum of 2 years of project manager or construction manager experience
• Broad knowledge of all phases of power plant construction with understanding of CT and CC plants
• In-depth knowledge of environmental, health, and safety (EHS) protocols
• Working understanding of procurement, construction contracting, cost accounting, budgeting, and scheduling

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 or more years of experience specifically managing CC or CT projects as a construction manager
• Project Manager certification
