Manager, Mission & Quality Assurance

Responsibilities

• Lead quality and mission assurance for the Advance Early Warning Radar Systems (AEWRS) portfolio
• Serve as the primary quality interface for the product Integrated Product Team (IPT)
• Develop and monitor quality metrics to drive proactive continuous improvement initiatives
• Oversee contract start-up, production, and sell-off activities
• Lead root cause corrective action (RCCA) and FRACAS activities for systemic issues
• Implement Advanced Product Quality Planning in accordance with AS9145
• Partner with senior leaders and customers to implement proactive quality strategies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and minimum of 8 years of relevant experience (or advanced degree with 5 years of experience)
• Working experience with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 Quality Management Systems
• Experience leading teams in failure analysis, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventative action
• Experience providing technical program oversight for manufacturing and/or design processes
• U.S. citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Six Sigma, Lean, and/or American Society for Quality (ASQ) certifications
• Experience reviewing Statement of Work (SOW) and Corrective Action Requests (CAR)
• Experience interfacing directly with customers and participating in Change Control Boards (CCB)
• Strong judgment and resolution-making skills
