Manager, Mission Management

Responsibilities

• Coordinate successful execution of launch missions across technical, programmatic, and financial milestones
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, owning relationships and mission requirements
• Manage seamless planning and execution of integration and launch for individual customer satellites
• Interface between government/international customers, vehicle engineers, and executives
• Support Business Development through mission compatibility analysis and technical requirement negotiations
• Integrate space market insights into launch system product development

Requirements

• 5+ years of technical project management experience with complex or safety-critical systems
• Demonstrated success managing commercial, Defense, or NASA customer programs
• Proven track record working with multidisciplinary teams and external partners
• Exceptional organization and time management skills
• Ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent oral, technical writing, and presentation skills
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to obtain Top Secret or Top Secret SCI clearance
• Previous mission management or integration experience with U.S. Government, NASA, or commercial launch
• Experience with FAR/DFAR contracts, ITAR, EAR, or TAA
• Sales engineering and contract negotiation experience in a startup or agile environment
