About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage pre-season and in-season sales, margin, and inventory plans
- Own the monthly Open-to-Buy (OTB) process and recommend strategic shifts
- Drive profitability through product lifecycle pricing and markdown cadence
- Analyze weekly and seasonal sales performance to optimize in-season chase and re-orders
- Monitor inventory health, turns, and weeks of supply (WOS)
- Partner with Buying to build profitable assortment frameworks
- Leverage BI tools to build predictive models and automated reporting
- Transition manual processes into scalable, automated workflows
- Mentor and develop a team of Associate and Assistant Planners
- Translate complex financial data into narrative-driven strategies for leadership
Requirements
- 5–7 years of progressive experience in eCommerce planning and inventory management
- 1–2 years in a supervisory or management capacity
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field
- Experience managing an OTB of $50M+
- Mastery of Excel including VBA, Power Query, and macros
- Proficiency with ERP and BI platforms such as NetSuite, Power BI, Looker, or Tableau
