Manager, Medical Affairs

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and scientific advice to the Malaysia Leadership team to develop and implement effective growth strategies.
• Develop and implement Medical Plans for ESKD and Vital Organ therapy, including new product launches, ensuring alignment with cross-functional growth strategies.
• Serve as a key scientific liaison between the company and external scientific advisors, clinical consultants, and research communities.
• Lead evidence generation strategies by collaborating with global and regional teams to address evidence gaps and communicate findings through publications.
• Participate in business development activities and provide strategic input to the development portfolio for regulatory and commercial success.
• Oversee the medical review of advertisement and promotional materials for the Malaysia market.
• Manage the Malaysia WWM budget and ensure high-quality medical education activities meet compliance regulations.

Requirements

• Medical Doctor (MD), PhD, or PharmD degree.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in medical affairs or equivalent clinical leadership roles.
• Proven track record in evidence generation, interpretation, and communication of scientific data.
• Demonstrated experience in developing medical and scientific plans to support product differentiation and clinical practice patterns.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with established relationships in Nephrology or Intensive Care therapeutic areas.
• Ability to navigate complex healthcare environments, laws, and regulations within the APAC region.
