Manager - Medical Affairs

Responsibilities

• Serve as a core scientific member of the cross-functional franchise team for the Cardio-vascular-Metabolic portfolio.
• Act as the primary scientific face of the organization to Thought Leaders and physicians.
• Identify, map, and profile key thought leaders within the assigned geography and therapy area.
• Execute strategic medical affairs plans, including medical education, product education, and medical evidence generation.
• Deliver scientific presentations and conduct peer-to-peer discussions with HCPs to provide accurate and balanced information.
• Monitor and report on emerging clinical and scientific trends in the respective therapy area.
• Convert insights from KOLs regarding disease trends and treatment patterns into viable solutions.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and regulatory teams to support organizational requirements and training.
• Ensure all promotional materials are approved within stipulated timelines and in alignment with company processes.

Requirements

• Registered Medical Doctor with post-graduation.
• Minimum of 4 years of pharmaceutical industry or research experience.
• Proven experience as a Regional Medical Advisor or HO Medical Advisor.
• Expertise in Cardio-vascular, Metabolic/diabetes, or nephrology therapy areas.
• Strong scientific presentation and training skills for both medical and non-medical audiences.
• Ability to develop and execute comprehensive medical plans.
• Strategic mindset with high scientific acumen and excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in strategizing and driving evidence generation projects.
• Experience working within complex business environments.
