Manager, Market Operations (Technicians)

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of field technicians in NYC
• Manage end-to-end field service operations including scheduling and workload prioritization
• Ensure repair and maintenance tickets are resolved according to SLAs
• Manage inventory of parts, tools, and supplies
• Track and report on operational metrics like resolution times and technician utilization
• Collaborate with Software, Engineering, and Design teams to provide field feedback

Requirements

• 3+ years in trades such as HVAC or electrical
• 2+ years of experience supervising field teams
• Deep competency in electrical and plumbing systems
• Ability to read complex technical diagrams and schematics
• Experience with maintenance, sanitation, workforce scheduling, and route optimization
• Proficiency in ticketing and inventory management workflows
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving history
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Operations, or equivalent professional trade experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience scaling field service operations in a startup environment
• Certification or license in plumbing or electrical work
• Familiarity with IoT devices or smart technologies
• Prior experience in portable sanitation or facilities management
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
