Manager, Market Insights and Analytics

Responsibilities

• Provide tactical and strategic analyses for the Canada Innovative Medicine business to support commercial decisions.
• Design, coordinate, and execute primary market research and secondary analysis projects.
• Identify potential marketplace opportunities and synthesize findings into actionable insights for Brand Management.
• Drive a comprehensive outside-in strategic perspective regarding patients, customers, competitors, payers, and regulators.
• Lead situational analysis, including patient journey mapping and development of strategic planning assumptions.
• Support key development decision points through market opportunity assessments, positioning, and segmentation.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand treatment pathways, market access, and incentives.

Requirements

• University degree in science or business.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry or strategic healthcare consultancy.
• Proven experience in Market Research, Brand Management, or Analytics within a leading pharma company.
• Superior analytical skills with high proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and visualization.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint for presenting and defending complex analyses.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, matrix environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in the French language is considered an asset.
• Experience with specialty products and understanding of therapeutic disease areas.
