Manager - Managed Accounting Services Advisory

Responsibilities

• Work closely with clients to support accounting and reporting needs, acting as a trusted advisor for business decisions.
• Manage the completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of client deliverables and project scopes.
• Assist in creating or expanding accounting policies and procedures while reviewing and approving team work.
• Prepare and review account reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger updates.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and resolve financial reporting issues.
• Lead the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including cash flow statements and variance analysis, ensuring GAAP compliance.
• Coordinate annual audits and tax returns with outside CPA firms.
• Develop strong client relationships and identify opportunities for enhanced service offerings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in a management role.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and relevant accounting standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and cloud accounting tools such as QuickBooks Online, Intacct, or NetSuite.
• Excellent interpersonal, project management, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• CA or CPA designation (or eligibility to obtain one upon hire).
• Experience in autonomous decision-making and coaching team members.
