Manager, Maintenance Operations

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance operations for the Irvine, CA manufacturing plant, overseeing technicians and engineers
• Own preventative and breakdown maintenance operations to ensure equipment reliability and performance
• Develop and manage the plant’s maintenance strategy, budget, and resource allocation
• Manage the EAM system to ensure accurate creation, scheduling, and tracking of work orders
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, and DMAIC methodologies to improve safety, quality, and efficiency
• Monitor performance metrics such as OEE, MTBF, and MTTR to optimize production equipment reliability
• Manage spare parts inventory to ensure sufficient stock for production requirements
• Participate in the Safety Committee and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and environmental rules

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in maintenance, repair, and improvement of automated manufacturing equipment and facilities
• Minimum of 3 years of management experience leading technical teams
• Advanced mechanical aptitude and ability to interpret technical drawings and manuals
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SolidWorks, and SAP
• Strong data analysis skills and familiarity with Lean Six Sigma processes
• Experience with basic controls and vision system troubleshooting
