Manager, Maintenance & Facilities

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and consultation for plant infrastructure, including power, water, air, lighting, and HVAC systems during the 3rd shift
• Supervise hourly bargaining unit maintenance staff, including hiring, training, and performance management
• Manage facility support systems such as air compressors, electrical breakers, plumbing, chillers, and boilers
• Lead troubleshooting efforts for injection molding equipment, including hydraulic systems and machine controls
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes, including OSHA and EPA requirements
• Coordinate maintenance activities and resources to meet company KPIs and minimize downtime
• Respond to facility emergencies and direct staff to perform cost-effective, timely repairs

Requirements

• Associates degree in a technical field or equivalent experience (including military service)
• 5+ years of experience in production facility operation and maintenance
• 2+ years of experience in a leadership role with direct reports
• Working knowledge of PLC and automated industrial production equipment
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Project, Word, Excel)
• Familiarity with OSHA and EPA requirements related to maintenance
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supervising employees in a union environment
• Previous experience specifically with injection molding processes
