Manager Maintenance

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe and economical daily and long-term maintenance of equipment at the assigned power plant.
• Manage mechanical, electrical, and I&C maintenance teams, including human resources, cost, and budgetary accountabilities.
• Coordinate schedules for repair and preventative maintenance, including plant outages and overhauls.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental and safety regulations during maintenance activities.
• Develop and monitor the Maintenance Department budget and manage new equipment warranties.
• Oversee the performance of contractors and manage Long Term Service Agreements (LTSA) as applicable.
• Serve as a primary decision-maker in the recruiting and selection process for the maintenance department.
• Remain on-call 24/7 to respond to potential power plant issues.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, degree from a technical/vocational school, or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred).
• Minimum of 5+ years of power generation experience, specifically in gas turbine power plant maintenance.
• Minimum of 3+ years of supervisory or work leadership experience.
• Intimate knowledge of repair and maintenance practices for heavy frame combustion turbines.
• Valid state driver’s license.
