About the role
Responsibilities
- Identify, recruit, hire, coach, and retain top talent for the Long Term Care (LTC) account team
- Build and lead a regional team of 7-9 LTC Associate Account Managers
- Develop and coach expertise in regional business focus areas, including settings of care and payer pull-through opportunities
- Execute marketing and call plan strategies to meet and exceed regional goals
- Coordinate efforts between sales leadership, brand marketing, market access, and sales operations
- Ensure the sales team adheres to all Teva compliance guidelines and operates with integrity
- Spend 90+ days per year in the field supporting Associate Account Managers
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2+ years of first-line pharmaceutical sales management experience
- 5+ years of specialty pharmaceutical sales experience
- Experience in psychiatric therapeutic areas
- Valid US driver’s license and an acceptable driving record
- Ability to travel approximately 50%, including weekends and overnight stays
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of specific experience in Long Term Care (LTC) sales
- Experience successfully promoting products in the psychiatric space across multiple settings of care
- Proven track record of managing relationships with key opinion leaders, LTC facilities, and regional payers
- Deep understanding of reimbursement coverage, Part A and Part D access, and LTC profitability parameters
