Manager, Logistics-Carrier Performance

Responsibilities

• Perform daily deep-dive analysis of carrier performance metrics, including on-time pickup, on-time delivery, and tender acceptance
• Partner with carriers and third-party logistics providers (3PL) to translate performance insights into operational improvements and corrective actions
• Manage end-to-end project management for recurring and ad hoc carrier alignment and performance meetings
• Facilitate carrier meetings by preparing data-driven presentation materials, setting agendas, and driving follow-up on actionable tasks
• Collaborate with Order Management, Sales, and Warehouse teams to ensure customer logistics needs and KPIs are met
• Monitor and manage freight claims to maximize payouts and resolve carrier denials
• Analyze planning and delivery exceptions to identify root causes and drive continuous improvement

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in logistics-related roles such as Logistics, Transportation, or Supply Chain Management
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret KPIs and identify trends to improve cost and execution
• Extensive experience in leading and facilitating professional meetings
• Proficiency with ERP, TM, and WMS software (SAP or Mercury Gate preferred)
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a focus on customer service

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field
