Manager: Listed Credit

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of quantitative investment strategies for listed credit portfolios
• Oversee portfolio construction, optimisation, and risk management to ensure alignment with client mandates
• Develop and refine quantitative models, factor frameworks, and statistical tools to support credit selection
• Analyse market, issuer, and structural risks across various listed credit instruments
• Collaborate with fundamental analysts, traders, and risk teams to integrate quantitative insights into decision-making
• Contribute to thought leadership, research publications, and investment committee discussions
• Support the strategic growth of the listed credit capability and mentor junior team members
• Assist with client engagement, presentations, and investment reporting

Requirements

• Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Quantitative Finance, Engineering, Actuarial Science, or a related discipline
• Proven experience in asset management with exposure to listed credit, fixed income, or credit risk
• Demonstrated ability to apply statistical and quantitative methods to investment problems
• Coding skills in Python, R, MATLAB, SQL, or similar languages
• Strong understanding of portfolio theory, risk modelling, and credit market dynamics
• Ability to operate at both hands-on technical and strategic leadership levels
• Ability to leverage market and banking relationships to originate investment opportunities
