About the role

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage the Inhouse Logistics Operations Team for parts sequencing and line-feeding
  • Lead a team of approximately 200 blue-collar workers across 3 shifts and 20 specialists
  • Ensure operation and maintenance of logistical equipment and emergency concepts
  • Manage planning and implementation of new logistics processes and structures
  • Execute problem-solving processes to prevent production stops due to logistical failures
  • Oversee recruiting, qualification, and personnel management for white-collar and blue-collar staff
  • Coordinate annual and permanent inventory processes
  • Monitor and implement KPIs to control processes and manage department budgets
  • Maintain reference data accuracy in proprietary systems

Requirements

  • 10+ years of professional experience in automotive logistics or production
  • 3+ years of management experience in an operative environment
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Management, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • Extensive knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO, VDA, etc.)
  • Proficiency with complex IT systems, preferably SAP
  • Strong problem-solving, report writing, and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects in a fast-paced environment
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
