Manager, Lighting

Responsibilities

• Advance lighting technical design and development
• Oversee external resources to deliver on workstream responsibilities
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders’ requirements to develop cost effective and streamlined solutions
• Prepare and oversee the lighting portion of the technical venue design books and other technical publications
• Oversee an installation team during operations and maintenance during the event period
• Integrate and influence venue design to allow for efficient solutions
• Support infrastructure requirements for Broadcast, Energy, Sport, and OBS
• Support the development of integrated workplans and schedules

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with lighting design and installation
• Experience with temporary infrastructure and overlay
• Experience on teams delivering complex, high-profile infrastructure projects
• Advanced knowledge of industry tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, Vectorworks, or AGI32
• Advanced knowledge of the properties of light (Intensity, Angle, Color Temperature, etc.)
• Advanced knowledge of lighting control system functionality (DMX, dimming, relays)
• Experience with industry codes and practices (IES standards, NFPA)
• Knowledge of fundamental project management concepts
• Bachelor's degree in Lighting, Theater/Live Entertainment, or Technical Direction preferred
